Speech and public speaking
Students will master the fundamentals of structuring talks, planning engaging content, and delivering speeches with confidence and clarity.
Drama and improvisation
Explore reading from scripts, stage craft, effective use of props and costumes, and the exciting world of working with the unknown in improvisation.
Reading poetry and prose
Develop skills in reading excerpts from books, poetry, and prose, including both practiced pieces and sight reading, enhancing expression and understanding.
Who my lessons are for
My lessons are specifically designed for primary, intermediate and secondary school students, aged 6-18, catering to a diverse range of needs and aspirations.
For building confidence
These lessons are ideal for students who may find oral communication and speaking confidently a bit challenging at school or in other extracurricular activities. I provide a supportive environment to help them grow.
For extending skills
They are also perfect for students who are passionate and excited about public speaking, acting, or literature, and are looking for a place to extend their skills and achieve accreditation through exams.
How I teach
At Find Your Voice, my teaching approach is designed to foster a collaborative and engaging learning environment for every student.
Small group classes
My classes are conducted in small groups of between 2 and 4 similarly aged students. This ensures personalised attention and a close-knit learning experience.
Peer interaction
The small group setting allows students to perform for their peers and listen actively, building confidence in presentation and critical listening skills in a safe and encouraging space.
